Episode #8: Gangstaz Ate My Homiez! (Re-Upload)
March 06, 2010 03:27 PM PST
What up foo?! This episode we take a trip down to the fucking hood. With the gat's in our pants and the blue bandanna's hanging from our left side, we man up & check out some Urban Horror anthology films. First we kick off the show by talking some gagnsta rap. From there we discuss "Snopp Dogg's Hood of Horror" followed by 1995's Spike Lee co-produced ghetto classic "Tales From the Hood". How does Snoop's bitch-ass take on the urban horror sub-genre hold up going up against a classic? You're gonna have to kick back to find out dawg. Rab was too busy getting his drank on this episode so he spits a mini "Rabble", and Crispy is back representin the females with full force. So grab yo brand of 40's and come kick it with the Slacker Crew cuz when you hang with us, you know we got yo back.Episode #7: Fuck You 2009!
January 27, 2010 02:35 PM PST
Welcome back dickheads and pussies. After yet ANOTHER unplanned hiatus, we're back on episode 7 to bring you our lists for best and worst films we saw in 2009. Just like every other podcast and horror related website, this is pretty much the "Fuck You 2009" episode where we talk shit and praise the few good flicks that came out last year. We also took a look at most of the big titles coming in 2010 and go through each trailer discussing whether they impressed us or not. Along with another installment of "Rabb's Rabble" and actually receiving an email, this just another clusterfuck for are you assholes to wrap your mind around. Enjoy!Episode #6: Hard Candy in May
November 23, 2009 04:16 PM PST
Welcome back folks! I bet the only reason you're tuning in is because you know this is our "Crazy Women" episode right? This time around after many delays we finally decide to tackle on 2005's controversial "Hard Candy", as well as 2002's indie classic (well at least me and Crispy think so) "May". Mysterious, lonely, psycho women are so hot amiright?! Anyway, our usual segments also make a return including a World Wide Weird "Twilight" discussion and new installment of "Rab's Rabble". We also mope about never getting fan mail and other Slacker-esque bullshit. Hope you all enjoy the episode and I hope somebody will fucking write in for once!Episode #5: Ginger Snaps Our Libidos
October 30, 2009 04:46 PM PDT
What's up all you dicks & clits!? On this episode we grace the return of our female voice Crispy just in time for our first Halloween episode. After talking a few about Halloween and it's future, we venture on to review the teen werewolf Canadian cult classic "Ginger Snaps" (2001) and its first sequel "Ginger Snaps 2 Unleashed". Obviously we throw in our vulgar perverted humor in there as we talk about werewolf transformations and Katherine Isabelle's fantastic breasts! Also this week Rab give us a "World Wide Weird" story, we forget about the mini-reviews, and didn't have time for another "Rab's Rabble". So there you have it, have a very happy safe fucking Halloween and enjoy the gore!Episode #4: Return of the Bio-Slackers
September 22, 2009 04:59 PM PDT
We're finally back after almost 2 months of going podcast AWOL. If you're reading this, it means you've stuck with us through this really absurd hiatus and we totally love you for it. Well not really, we most likely feel sorry for wasting your time. Anyway, this episode we are accompanied by a special guest host, talk a bit about Jennifer's Body, explain why we've been gone for almost 2 months, and review Japan's answer to Shaun of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead, Biozombie. Rabb's Rabble also makes its return as well as our immature vulgar humor. However, take this as a warning, this is about the 6th time we tried recording this episode due to audio issues (fucking Skype!). The second half of the cast was recorded about a month ago and was just edited in to fit the rest. You've been warned! I'll stop blabbing now. Hope you enjoy the return of the Slackers!
Episode #3: Dance of the Living Dorks
July 15, 2009 05:28 PM PDT
Hello and welcome again! On this episode of Slackers Ate My Neighbors we enjoy the fine world that is teen sex comedies mixed-in with some zombie lovin'. We review the hilarious zombie comedies (zombcomedies if you will) Dance of the Dead (2008) and Night of the Living Dorks (2004). How does Crispy hold up to me and Rab salivating over the perky teenage breasts of the films? We also read our viewer responses to last week's question about spoilers, chit-chat a bit about me and Rab heading to Vegas for EVO, and unfortunately Rab's Rabble is AWOL until next episode where it will return with a surprise! Enjoy and remember, we don't know how to shoot machete's.
"Slackers Ate My Neighbors" is a horror movie podcast aimed at everyday casual movie fans. It was created by hardcore horror community aficionado Teen Idol, aspiring horror fanatic Rab, & casual movie buff Christine. We specialize in reviewing classic horror flicks that are gory, fun, scary, & are not exactly cinema masterpieces-at least not to film critics! Even though the idea for this cast was inspired by the hardcore horror community, it should be clear that this project is aimed at your not-so-everyday horror/film fan. The main goal is to review films any horror fan has seen numerous times in their life, but the general public hasn't. Along with vulgarity, 2 perverts, & nonsensical ramblings, the cast will also feature mainstream theatrical release reviews, sick fucking music to make your ears dance, & a videogame segment by Rab. Check out our Myspace by clicking on our website link on this page for full summaries of all our past episodes. There you can message us and we'll gladly link you over to the episodes that are no longer on our RSS feed. Welcome to our nightmare motherfuckers!
The Slacker Crew: Teen*Idol - Hardcore horror community aficionado and host of Slackers ate my Neighbors. Christine (Crispy) - The female perspective and casual movie buff of the cast. Big Rab - The aspiring horror movie fan and host of "Rabs Rabble" videogame segment.
